WHAT WE DO

The Truman Council is a quasi-governmental entity and is 1 of 19 Regional Planning Commissions (RPCs) in Missouri. We are designated the southwest corner of Missouri to help our region with economic development, ​transportation planning, environmental issues, and other general quality-of-life problems through planning and grant writing.  

MEMBERS

Since 1962, we have been serving Barton, Jasper, Newton, and McDonald counties and all municipalities within those jurisdictions. All communities may contact us and we will help to the best of our ability. We love our communities and we make aiding them our top priority.

PROJECTS

The Truman Council can help your community with a wide array of projects such as road, bridge, or sidewalk repair and installation, creation of walking trails and parks, water testing, environmental reviews, broadband access, waste water projects, and so much more. If you can dream it, we can write a grant for it.
